I was born in Vendée in 1959, to a numerous family with farmer parents. I'm the 7th among 8 children. As custom on that period, I started working in the farm at an early age and that has marked my character.
At 12 years old, I discovered the passion for horse riding, thanks to Gérald and Michel de Béjarry's pedagogy.
When I was 18, I went to join my two elder brothers, Jean-Pierre and André, already professional riders then, who welcomed me to their homes. It was the beginning of my professional adventure. I pursued with Hubert Thiroin, then with Daniel Constant before setting up my own business in 1984.
